Anyone having a hard time evaluating or giving feedback to a piece of writing, then go ahead and read chapter 24 of the Norton field guide to writing and reading on Assessing your own writing.
Most of the time at school I had hard time thinking that what I wrote for my classes was not what teacher expected me to write or I just thought that I was writing something really out of place and bizarre that might not be of slightest interest to the reader. Afterwards I figured it out that It is not that I do not have ability to write properly but because I feel really stressed out during writing thinking that it may not turn out well. I found out that the more I am stressful the more I make silly mistakes and keep negative outlook. As a result I changed the course of my writing.Instead of thinking about its outcome I just went ahead and wrote it extemporaneously.
After reading chapter 4 I combined my extemporaneous way of writing with basic tips on self-evaluation in this book and I feel that I am more skilled now than I was before.
Thus,I would think that feeling comfortable while writing is the best way for me to come up with good writing.
